Position Description:	112 SPED TRANSITIONAL ASSISTANT SLC/B: Milwaukie Elementary. Job group C, $12.26 hourly, 5.5 hr per day. Previous assistant experience working students preferred. Responsible for support to special education staff. Ability to develop and maintain positive relationship with department and building staff, students, and parents. The assistant will be required to assist in lifting and transferring the student up to 100 pounds. Minimum 2 Yr College Degree or be Highly Qualified is preferred. Must be able to provide proof of employment eligibility. Pre-employment physical is required for this position.

Community Description:	Our district is located in a growing urban area south of metropolitan Portland, Oregon. The Cascade Mountains with the Mount Hood ski are is east of the district and provides some of the best skiing found in the Western states. All of this added to the fact that the State of Oregon and its citizens care that the environment provide healthy living, makes the location of North Clackamas School District the ideal place to work and live.
