Position Description:	Job Group F $16.53 per hour 260 days, 4 hrs per day. Serve as a technology resource person whose primary responsibility will be in elementary and middle schools maintaining and supporting the day to day operation of technology based hardware and its associated software and to assist with its integration into the classroom curriculum. Assoc Degree in Computer Science/Electronics or equivalent experience in a related field. Three years prior work experience involving the operations, selection, repair and training of technology based equipment and software. Current knowledge of computer systems and relationships between hardware and software with an emphasis on analyzing and solving associated problems. Must have physical ability to move technology based electronic equipment to and from classrooms and various settings. Recommendation for purchase, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of technology equipment. Provide on-site technical support to staff and students in elementary and middle schools to facilitate the introduction and application of new hardware and software as it pertains to technology. Serve as a technical resource to the district technology staff in the implementation of District needs. Diagnose and provide solutions to hardware and software problems. Maintain inventory control of school equipment, software usage and copyright laws. Perform on going preventive maintenance programs on technology equipment and maintain records. Assist staff and student in the production and presentation of required curriculum projects.

Community Description:	Our district is located in a growing urban area south of metropolitan Portland, Oregon. The Pacific Ocean and all the Oregon coast has to offer is only two hours away, and the spectacular beauty and recreational opportunities of the Columbia River Gorge is only half hour away. The Cascade Mountains with the Mount Hood ski are is east of the district and provides some of the best skiing found in the Western states. All of this added to the fact that the State of Oregon and its citizens care that the environment provide healthy living, makes the location of North Clackamas School District the ideal place to work and live.
